Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey raised eyebrows throughout Washington this week; bizarrely suggesting that President Trump’s repeated “denials” of Russian collusion somehow proves he colluded with the Kremlin during the 2016 election.
According to the Daily Caller, Comey was speaking at an event hosted by the Washington Post Tuesday when he detailed his twisted logic; adding it always “struck” him as strange when “someone continually denies something.”
“It’s always struck me as strange whenever someone continually denies something; it makes me interested. So, his continual denial of something that’s being investigated by some of the best people in the country is strange,” said the former bureau boss.
Comey’s comments come as Robert Mueller’s never-ending investigation into “collusion” faced major pushback from two federal judges over the weekend, with one accusing the special counsel of “lying” to expand the scope of his investigation.

COMEY CASHES IN: Disgraced FBI Boss’s New Book OUTSELLING Clinton, Wolff
Former FBI director James Comey’s Trump-bashing memoir shot to the top of the best-seller list Tuesday; outperforming both Hillary Clinton’s and Michael Wolff’s total sales combined.
According to the New York Times, Comey’s tell-all book, “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership” blasted through sales expectations after his media-hyped publicity tour; stopping by The View, The Late Show, and countless other liberal outlets.
“Mr. Comey’s publisher, Flatiron Books, has ordered multiple reprints to meet demand, and now has more than a million copies in print,” writes the Times. “The early sales figures for Mr. Comey’s book dwarfed other recent political best sellers.”
Initial sales figures have the book selling over 600,000 copies.
The former FBI director made national headlines last week after his public attacks against President Trump; calling the Commander-in-Chief a “mob boss” acting as the head of an organized crime family.
COMEY’S REVENGE: Former FBI Chief Claims Memo ‘DESTROYED TRUST’ with Intel Community
Former Director of the FBI James Comey weighed-in on the controversial FISA memo released by the House Intelligence Committee Friday afternoon, blasting the document as “dishonest and misleading” and falsely claiming it “exposed” a classified investigation.
The former bureau chief -who was fired by President Trump last year for his botched investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server- posted his comments on social media within minutes of the document’s disclosure.
“That’s it? Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what? DOJ & FBI must keep doing their jobs,” Comey tweeted.

While Comey may found the memo’s revelations “boring,” the explosive document shows the FBI and Department of Justice used the debunked ‘Trump Dossier’ to secure FISA court warrants against “at least one member” of the Trump campaign during the run-up to the 2016 election.
