Former President Donald Trump reacted to the nation’s ongoing struggle to defeat the CoVID-19 pandemic on Fox News Tuesday; saying senior White House advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci “made nothing but mistakes.”

“So when you go to the Covid issue, we did a great job. We get very little credit for it. I closed the country far earlier. Dr. Fauci and Birx and all of these people that, frankly, made nothing but mistakes, they didn’t want to do it. They didn’t want to close it to China,” Trump stated. “I closed the border to China. I closed the border to Europe, Italy, and all of these countries that were having tremendous problems long before they wanted me to do it.”
“If you look at Biden, he didn’t want to do it months afterwards, and then ultimately he admitted that he made a mistake in saying that. If I didn’t do that, we would have had hundreds of thousands of more lives gone,” Trump concluded.
FAUCI on MASKS: Two Coverings ‘Would Be More Effective’ in Preventing Spread of Coronavirus
Dr. Anthony Fauci revised his previous comments regarding mask-wearing to prevent the spread of CoVID-19 this week; saying “two coverings would be more effective.”
“Because, I mean, this is a physical covering to prevent droplets and virus to get in,” Fauci told NBC’s Savannah Guthrie on Monday. “So, if you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on — it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective, and that’s the reason why you see people either double-masking or doing a version of an N95.”
“Just 100 days to mask, not forever, 100 days. And I think we’ll see a significant reduction,” Biden said in December.

DIRE PREDICTION: Fauci Warns Americans of ‘Another Spike’ of CoVID Cases Despite Vaccines
Senior White House advisor Doctor Anthony Fauci warned Americans of an impending spike in CoVID cases; saying there’s simply too much “viral activity” occurring despite the distribution of tens of millions of vaccines.
“We’ve just now recently experienced the worst surge,” Fauci said. “The issue is that we are starting to plateau. That plateau is about 60,000 to 70,000 cases a day. When you have that much viral activity in a plateau, it almost invariably means that you are at risk of another spike.
“Many countries in Europe have seen just that — over the past week, an increase in cases by 9 percent, something we desperately want to avoid,” he added.
“Many of us will recall very, very vividly — in the end of the winter and the beginning of the spring — we had a surge that was dominated by the New York metropolitan area. After the surge, what we came down to was a baseline of about 20,000 cases per day. That is a very high baseline, relatively speaking,” he said.
