GRAHAM ON IRAN: Sen. Graham Praises ‘Home Run’ Iran Speech, Says All Americans Should Support Trump

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.08.20

Sen. Lindsey Graham publicly praised the President’s national address on Iran Wednesday; calling the speech a “home run” that all Americans should be able to support in the days ahead.

“A home run speech by President @realDonaldTrump about the challenges we face with Iran. It was measured and firm. To the Iranian people: President Trump laid out a pathway forward for peace and prosperity. I hope you take it,” said Graham on social media.

“To the world: President Trump correctly identified the 40 year history of Iranian hostility and destabilization of the region. I hope you will help President Trump change the regime’s behavior so we can avoid a war,” he added. “To the American people and Congress: What President Trump is seeking from Iran is to end 40 years of tyranny, to stop them from being a state sponsor of terrorism, and to abandon their nuclear weapons program once and for all.”

“All Americans should support President Trump’s efforts to resolve the threat from Iran peacefully and fully understand the Maximum Pressure campaign must continue with a credible military component,” Graham concluded.

BIAS ON DISPLAY: Time-Lapse Footage Shows CNN Skipping Lindsey Graham’s Opening Statement

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.12.19

Recently released time-lapse footage shows CNN intentionally skipping Sen. Lindsey Graham’s opening statement on FISA abuse; coverage carried by other major news networks for the entire 45-minutes.

“Media bias is not only how something is covered, it’s what they cover. This is what bias at CNN looks like,” posted GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

CNN found itself in hot-water Wednesday after the network failed to air Sen. Lindsey Graham’s opening statement at the Judiciary Committee; ignoring the lawmaker’s powerful remarks on the FBI’s botched Russia probe.

“CNN was alone among the three major cable news networks in deciding not to televise Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., deliver his opening statement on Wednesday prior to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s hotly-anticipated testimony,” reports Fox News.

“Graham’s powerful remarks included examples of bias against President Trump and other Republicans from top FBI officials and criticism of media coverage that dismissed the FISA report as concluding the FBI made errors at a low level,” adds Fox.

“The first thing I want you to know is how the cake is baked here and my goal is to make sure … you look at this as more than a few irregularities, because if this becomes a few irregularities in America, then God help us all,” Graham said.

CNN has so-far not responded to the incident.

'ENOUGH': Lindsey Graham to Introduce Legislation Condemning Dems’ Impeachment Inquiry

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.24.19

Senate Republicans -led by Lindsey Graham- will introduce new legislation Thursday officially condemning House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry against President Trump.

“The South Carolina Republican, a close ally of President Donald Trump, has attacked Democrats for their handling of the impeachment process. His resolution — backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell — criticizes the House for its ‘closed-door, illegitimate impeachment inquiry,’” reports Politico.

“This is a kangaroo court and it will not stand,” Graham said this week. “I’ve got a resolution saying if you’re going to impeach the president give him the same rights that Richard Nixon had and that Bill Clinton had…what’s going on now is disgusting.”

“The Graham resolution could put pressure on Republicans who have appeared open to considering the evidence in the House impeachment inquiry. But even Republicans who have declined to offer predictions on how the inquiry might end have attacked Democrats for how they’ve handled impeachment,” adds Politico.

Graham exploded on the Democrats’ “sham” impeachment investigation Tuesday; telling reporters on Capitol Hill the whole process is completely “Un-American.”

“This is a sham. This is a joke. I’m going to let the whole world know that if we were doing this to a Democratic president, you would be all over me right now… This is a lynching in every sense. This is un-American.”
