A panel of President Trump’s supporters pushed back against CNN during a televised interview on Tuesday, schooling the news network over the President’s tough-talk towards North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
During the discussion, a pro-Trump woman began laughing straight into the camera when the topic of North Korea came up.
“North Korea… Go ahead, tell us what’s funny?” asked the reporter.
“Kaboom! What are we waiting for?” joked the woman.
“No, I like the way he’s handling North Korea,” she added. “He has to be tough, because he’s dealing with craziness. I think as Commander-in-Chief he’s been a lot more disciplined.”
Another panelist mentioned a nearly eighteen-year old video that has been making the rounds on social media, showing Donald Trump warning people over North Korea’s nuclear threat back in 1999.
“It’s almost chilling. There was a video of President Trump being interviewed, then a civilian Donald Trump in 1999, and he was asked about North Korea, and he said, ‘What are we going to do? Wait for them to have missiles pointed at us before we act? Before we do anything?'” said the woman.
“Look at the situation now. Look where their nuclear program has escalated to. I think that Kim Jong Un has run around unchecked in that part of the world for a long time,” she added.
