Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is no fan of the Biden Administration’s new ‘Ministry of Truth’ —in fact, she’s leading the effort to defund the department, saying it’s “the hill to die on.” Boebert spoke with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on The Ingraham Angle.

He’s lied to the American people about the border being closed…now he’s starting this Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth.’ I will be introducing the Protecting Free Speech Act which will defund this proposed department and prohibit any spinoff that these scoundrels may try to create.”

Boebert also spoke with Fox News Digital.
“This kind of stuff is terrifying. We in Congress have the power of the purse. It is our duty to shut down this department immediately,” Boebert said. “I’m calling on leadership in the Republican Party — Leader [Kevin] McCarthy, Whip [Steve] Scalise and others — to join me in calling for this department to be shut down and defunded.”
“I don’t think people are fully understanding the severity of what a Ministry of Truth organized by DHS truly means. This is Stalin level. This is Mao level. This is the hill to die on,” Boebert tweeted.
