Recently released surveillance video shows the terrifying moment a would-be suicide bomber attempted to bring death and destruction to New York City on Monday morning; depicting the ISIS-inspired terrorist calmly walking amongst commuters when he suddenly detonates his improvised explosive.
The chilling images, released by the New York Post, show 27-year old Akayed Ullah –a Brooklyn resident born in Bangladesh- slowly stalking the halls of the New York City subway system beneath the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
After several seconds, Ullah detonates a five-inch long pipe-bomb strapped to his midsection as residents and tourists flee the explosion.
The bomber was seriously injured and was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment. At least four other individuals were harmed in the attack, but are not in serious condition.

CHAOS IN NYC: Six Dead, 15 Injured as Driver Plows into Pedestrians
At least six people were killed and 15 injured in what the NYPD is describing as an “incident” in lower Manhattan, when a rental truck plowed into pedestrians on a busy bike path.
Initial reports indicate the driver may have possessed a fake firearm or paint-gun, and was waving the weapon at pedestrians while driving around New York City’s trendy Tribeca neighborhood.
“What happened was there was a car crash… he came out of one of the cars. He had two guns,” a 14-year-old Stuyvesant high school student told the NY Post. “We thought it was a Halloween thing. He started running around the highway. There was another guy in a green shirt that was chasing him around.”
Counter-terror police are on the scene along with local law enforcement and representatives of Mayor Bill De Blasio’s office.
The NYPD are currently treating the incident as a “possible act of terror.”

IT WAS ISIS: Terrorist Declared Allegiance to ISIS Before NYC Massacre
The suspect behind Tuesday’s devastating truck-attack in lower Manhattan left behind a would-be suicide note in the cabin of the vehicle, declaring his allegiance to the Islamic State and writing, “ISIS Lives Forever.”
Eight people were killed and 11 were seriously injured when 29-year-old Uzbekistan native Sayfullo Saipov rammed his rented pick-up truck into pedestrians and bicyclists in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood.
According to NBC News, Saipov left behind the ISIS-inspired writings in the hopes that he would be killed by law enforcement during the attack. After crashing into a school bus, the terrorist ran through the streets of lower Manhattan, screaming “Allahu Akbar” while holding a paint-ball gun and a BB pistol.
Saipov was shot in the abdomen and is recovering at a local hospital.
The NYPD and FBI believe the suspect is an Uber driver currently residing in New Jersey with his wife and three children.
“We are horrified by this senseless act of violence. Our hearts are with the victims and their families. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide our full assistance,” an Uber Spokesman said.
