Hamas terror group launched over 150 rockets in under only one 35-minute time span Tuesday night according to sources on the ground in Israel as tensions between Hamas and Israel intensify.
Israeli residents have turned to the social media platform WhatsApp to keep each other apprised of the terrifying scenes the hundreds of rockets being launched are creating across the country.
Videos are being shared roughly every 30 seconds as a means to share the original content as quickly as possible. One individual posted in the WhatsApp group for Israel Defense Forces Updates in English, “We appreciate everyone bearing with us as we try to both gather information, post it, create groups – and be prepared to shelter.”
The group is also attempting to keep everyone apprised with up-to-date critical information with messages such as injuries, deaths and locations of attacks. The sharing of videos from the citizen journalists on the ground in Israel has been facilitated by the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA).
One local resident said the rockets have likely been funded by Iran. In 2019 Iran agreed to increase its monthly payments to fund the Hamas terrorist group to $30 million in exchange for intelligence on Israeli missile capabilities.
In a live TV address at the time, during which Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad fired nearly 700 rockets at Israel, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar thanked Iran for providing the weaponry. “Iran provided us with rockets, and we surprised the world when our resistance targeted Beersheba” Sinwar said referring to the rocket attack.

TRUMP on ISRAEL: ‘Under Biden the World is Getting More Violent and More Unstable’
Former President Donald Trump issued an official statement on the chaos unfolding in Israel Tuesday; saying the Jewish State has every right to defend itself from militant attacks originating in the Gaza Strip.
Commenting on Israel, Trump says “the world is getting more violent and unstable” under Biden pic.twitter.com/tvTTT6AaEV

“When I was in office we were known as the Peace Presidency, because Israel’s adversaries knew that the United States stood strongly with Israel and there would be swift retribution if Israel was attacked. Under Biden, the world is getting more violent and more unstable because Biden’s weakness and lack of support for Israel is leading to new attacks on our allies. America must always stand with Israel and make clear that the Palestinians must end the violence, terror, and rocket attacks, and make clear that the U.S. will always strongly support Israel’s right to defend itself. Unbelievably, Democrats also continue to stand by crazed anti-American Rep. Ilhan Omar, and others, who savagely attack Israel while they are under terrorist assault,” posted Trump on his personal webpage.
This is a developing story.
