Firebrand Senator Kamala Harris raised eyebrows throughout the United States during congressional hearings this week; viciously drawing parallels between the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency and the Ku Klux Klan.
Harris was questioning Ronald Vitiello Thursday during his confirmation process to lead the agency when she asked him to weigh-in on another “domestic terrorist” organization.
Democrat Senator Kamala Harris compares ICE to the KKK and appears to suggest that they are a terrorist group during a Senate hearing to consider the nomination of Ronald Vitello to be the director of ICE.

“Are you aware of the perception of many about how the power and the discretion at ICE is being used to enforce the laws and do you see any parallels [with the KKK]? she asked.
“I do not see any parallels,” Vitiello fired-back. “That puts ICE in the same category as the KKK.”
“Are you aware that there is a perception that ICE is administering its power in a way that is causing fear and intimidation, particularly among immigrants and specifically among immigrants coming from Mexico and Central America?” pressed Harris.

HARRIS UNHINGED: Sen. Harris Defends ‘IDENTITY POLITICS,’ Says She ‘Won’t be Silenced’
Liberal Senator and potential 2020 hopeful Kamala Harris issued a full-throated defense of her brand of “identity politics” over the weekend, saying she “won’t be silenced” while standing up for “equal opportunity” for all Americans.
Harris was speaking at the Netroots Nation Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana when she called-out those critical of “identity politics,” claiming the phrase was simply used to try and “shut us up.”

“I have a problem, guys, with that phrase, ‘identity politics,’” Harris said. “Because let’s be clear, when people say that, it’s a pejorative. That phrase is used to divide, and it is used to distract. Its purpose is to minimize and marginalize issues that impact all of us. It is used to try and shut us up.”
“We won’t be silent about immigrant rights. We won’t be silent about a woman’s right to control her own body. We will not be silent about equal opportunity and equal justice under the law,” she said.
HARRIS UNHINGED: The Senator Says California ‘REPRESENTS THE FUTURE’ of America
Liberal Senator and potential 2020 presidential hopeful Kamala Harris issued a stark warning to Attorney General Jeff Sessions Thursday; telling the Senior Trump aide that “California represents the future” of the United States, not the past.
Harris was speaking with MSNBC News’ Chris Hayes when she scolded Sessions for his remarks in Sacramento Wednesday night; telling a roomful of law enforcement officers that California must obey “federal statutes” regarding immigration guidelines.
“This Administration and Jeff Sessions in particular have clearly put a target on the back of California and California’s going to fight,” Harris told Hayes. “And, I think that these folks are really mired in rolling back the clock in time and that’s not going to happen. California represents the future, and they don’t like it, but there you go.”
The Senator’s harsh rhetoric comes as the war of words between the Trump administration and California officials heats up over the state’s ‘Sanctuary City’ laws.
“California, we have a problem. A series of actions and events have occurred here that directly and adversely impact the work of our federal officers,” said the Attorney General.
