UPDATE: Pro-Trump Activists Arrive in Baltimore for Trash Removal, Locals ‘Thankful’ for Clean-Up

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.05.19

A group of pro-Trump activists arrived in Baltimore Monday to help remove massive piles of trash throughout the city; saying the clean-up is simply “Americans helping Americans” and is not politically motivated.

“We’re here in West Baltimore to pick up trash. This isn’t a Trump rally, nor an anti-Representative Cummings event. This is simply #AmericansHelpingAmericans,” posted the event organizer.

Original Story: July 30, 2019

Pro-Trump activist and conservative commentator Scott Presler stepped-up his efforts to help the city of Baltimore this week; organizing a giant garbage removal operation following the President’s plea for help.

“MAGA fan Scott Presler was tired of all the constant bickering in the media about Baltimore’s numerous problems, so he personally decided to do something about it. Rather than simply complain or join the online chorus, he has organized a massive trash clean up of the city set to take place in the near future. Presler just wants to help out in any way that he can,” reports Town Hall.

“I’m so tired of people saying, ‘We should do this, we should do that’….I was just like, ‘I’ve had, it. I’m going to go to Baltimore, even if it’s just me on a street corner picking up trash,'” he told The Epoch Times.

“I just want the citizens of Baltimore to see [that] we do care. We do give a darn. And at the end of the day, we’re all American and if ya’ll are struggling in Baltimore and you guys need help, then we’re going to be there for you,” he said.

President Trump doubled-down on his fierce fight to clean up Baltimore’s out-of-control corruption Tuesday; saying residents have been “living in hell” and appreciate his efforts in recent days.

“I’m the least racist person there is anywhere in the world,” Trump told reporters at the White House.

“Those people are living in hell in Baltimore. They’re largely African American. You have a large African-American population, and they really appreciate what I’m doing and they’ve let me know it,” he added.

“No, I think I’m helping myself because I’m pointing out the tremendous corruption that’s taken place in Baltimore and other Democratic run cities,” Trump said before departing for Virginia.

BALTIMORE BACKLASH: Police Commissioner ‘Apologizes’ for ‘200 Years’ of Brutality

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.20.18

Baltimore’s Police Commissioner shocked local residents and the nation Thursday when he “apologized” for “200 years” of police brutality; sparking a fierce backlash from a region struggling to contain escalating gun violence.

Commissioner Darryl De Sousa addressed the crowd at a sold-out Hip Hop concert this week, asking the audience for just “20 seconds” to beg forgiveness for “all the things that the police have done.”

“I want to take about 20 seconds to apologize for all the things that the police have done dating back 200 years,” said De Sousa.

“Two hundred years ago, all the way to civil rights. All the way to the ’80s where crack was prevalent in the cities and it affected disproportionately African-American men. All the way to the ’90s. All the way to the 2000’s when we had zero tolerance,” he added.

The President of Baltimore’s Police Union slammed the Commissioner’s comments late Thursday night, saying it was not “appropriate.”

“I’m not sure that a blanket apology covering 200 years is appropriate. Law enforcement was created to protect and serve the citizenry despite race and that is what we strive to do, daily,” the union added.

Four teenage suspects were arrested after an unprecedented overnight manhunt in Baltimore Monday, with local officials confirming the young men were detained in connection with the murder of a police officer.

“An intense manhunt involving aircraft and trained dogs came to an end Tuesday after a female officer was killed in a Baltimore suburb and four teenage suspects who were involved in burglaries in the area were arrested in connection with the slaying, officials said,” writes Fox News.

Baltimore County Police confirmed the arrest on social media earlier Tuesday, adding “names and charges” will be released after initial court proceedings.

“Officers who have died at the hands of gunshots is up” said Baltimore County Police Chief Terrence Sheridan. “This is a bad time in the United States for law enforcement.”
