Failed Veep candidate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was blasted on X on Friday after a clip of Walz calling for a “shadow government” went viral.
“I think we need a shadow government so when all these things come up, every single day, we have an alternate press conference telling the truth about what things are happening,” Walz told a crowd of supporters in the clip.
The Trump Admin’s rapid response team blasted Walz for his suggestion.
“Unhinged loser @GovTimWalz wants to form a “shadow government” in protest of requiring proof of citizenship for voter registration and banning foreign nationals from interfering in elections,” the account said.

Walz also insisted that the Democrats did not go far enough to embrace immigrants, wokeness, and DEI.
