Former President Donald Trump weighed-in Monday on the escalating border crisis taking place across the southern United States; saying the Obama administration “built the cages” to house migrant children in the region.

“You’d need about two hours to explain what we’ve done. They built the cages for children, we didn’t build them, they built them,” said the former President.
“We have such professionals; I watch them on your show. They know their business. They’re not involved in this. They built cages in 2014 but that was during the Obama administration. They blamed them on us,” he added. “It’s very sad.”
