Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer went nuclear on President Trump over the weekend, saying Donald Trump was the “most dangerous and worst man” in American history to ever occupy the Oval Office.
Schumer was speaking at a Human Rights Campaign event Saturday when he viciously attacked the President, claiming a person “far worse than Lyndon Johnson” currently occupies the White House; likely referencing Johnson’s decision to not seek re-election over high disapproval numbers and the never-ending war in Vietnam.
“We are dealing with probably the most dangerous and worst man in the presidency we have ever had in the history of this nation, but we are going to win the fight,” Schumer said.
“If we can take back the Senate, that means that I will have the sole power to determine what goes on the floor of the Senate,” he added. “It means we’ll be able stop Donald Trump from putting all his junk on the floor and stop the anti-LGBT cascade of things that come into the United States Senate.”

DEMOCRAT DELUSION: Schumer Calls Big Bonuses 'CRUMBS' for Working Families
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer doubled-down on Democratic talking points regarding the recently passed GOP tax cuts on Friday; echoing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s non-stop insistence that increased wages and big bonuses were simply “pathetic crumbs” given to American workers.
Schumer was speaking on the Senate floor when he predictably attacked the GOP-led tax overhaul, saying middle-class Americans were “getting crumbs” while large companies and corporations were getting “nice fat pieces of pie.”
“When the American people learn that some of them are not getting anything, some of them are getting raises, and the rest are getting crumbs; and big corporations and wealthy individuals are getting nice, fat pieces of pie… they’re going to be outraged,” said Schumer. “They are already.”
The Minority Leader’s comments come as the nation’s largest corporations announce their plans to reinvest in the United States and pay out big bonuses and higher wages to American-based workers.
This week, Home Depot joined AT&T, Visa, Walmart, American Airlines, Disney, and other companies pledging to expand benefits and raise earnings after President Trump signed the sweeping overhaul of the nation’s outdated tax code into law.

DON’T HOLD YOUR BREATH: Schumer Tells Trump to ‘THANK OBAMA’ at SOTU
House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer offered some “expert advice” to President Trump just hours before his State of the Union address, telling the Commander-in-Chief to thank former President Barack Obama for the booming economy and unprecedented stock market growth.
The liberal legislator was speaking on the Senate floor Tuesday afternoon when he called on the President to “admit” that “he inherited the healthy economy” from his predecessor; adding much of the strong economic recovery was “created by President Obama’s policies.”
“The president will be eager to defend the accomplishments of his nascent administration and take credit for a healthy American economy, pointing to low employment, job growth, and a soaring stock market,” Schumer said. “But the truth is these trends were present before Donald Trump took office.”
“President Trump was handed an already healthy economy by his predecessor,” he claimed. “Like many things in his life, he inherited the healthy economy. Here are two words we won’t hear President Trump say tonight about the economy – thanks, Obama – because much of the growth in 2017 was created by President Obama’s policies and by many measures the growth under President Obama was better than under President Trump.”
