President Trump is promising a primetime election bombshell.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Thursday that Trump will make an “important” announcement concerning election integrity when he addresses the nation at 9 p.m. Eastern.
“The president will be making a very important announcement with respect to the integrity of our elections,” Leavitt told reporters at the White House.
The administration has kept the substance of that announcement under wraps, leaving Washington guessing about whether Trump will propose a new policy, reveal government findings or focus on vulnerabilities inside the nation’s voting system.
