Senator Rand Paul utterly unloaded on former CIA Director John Brennan this week, saying he was the “most biased, bigoted, over-the-top, hyperbolic, unhinged director of the C.I.A. we’ve ever had.”
Paul was speaking with Fox News when he was asked to comment on Brennan’s recent tweet that called President Trump’s Helsinki summit with Vladimir Putin “treasonous.”
“John Brennan started out his adulthood by voting for the Communist Party presidential candidate. He is now ending his career by showing himself to be the most biased, bigoted, over-the-top, hyperbolic, unhinged director of the C.I.A. we’ve ever had,” said Paul.
“It really is an insult to everything about our government, to have a former head of the C.I.A. calling the President treasonous just because he doesn’t like him. You know, I filibustered Brennan. I tried to keep Brennan from ever being the leader of the C.I.A. But realize that Brennan and Clapper are known for wanting to expand the authority of the intelligence agencies to grab up everyone’s information,” he added.
RAND PAUL: Helsinki Summit Critics Motivated by ‘DISLIKE of the PRESIDENT’
Senator Rand Paul slammed the “pro-war” critics of President Trump’s historic Helsinki summit with Vladimir Putin Monday; saying his GOP detractors were motivated by their “dislike of the President.”
The Senator praised the President’s face-to-face meeting with the Russian leader just hours after Trump met with Putin in the Finnish capital, saying “small steps” towards a thaw in relations with another nuclear superpower was a good thing for both countries.
“We’re going to talk to the president about some small steps in order to try to thaw the relations between our countries,” said Paul.
“Republicans that are making the criticism are either the pro-war Republicans like (Sen. John) McCain and (Sen. Lindsey) Graham or the anti-Trump ones like (Sen. Ben) Sasse,” he added. “They are motivated by their persistent and consistent dislike of the president.”

VICIOUS: Music Star Calls for PHYSICAL VIOLENCE Against RAND PAUL During Senate Speech
Iconic musician and actress Bette Midler raised eyebrows on social media Friday, openly calling for physical violence against Senator Rand Paul following his impassioned Senate speech to restrain government spending and slash the federal deficit.
Midler posted her incendiary tweet while Paul delivered his hours-long address to Congress, hoping to derail the bipartisan budget deal as it made its way towards the President’s desk.
“Where’s Rand Paul’s neighbor when we need him?” tweeted the music star, referring to Paul’s physical altercation with his neighbor earlier this year that broke six ribs and damaged his lungs.
