“I’m honored to serve and honored to have your vote.”
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) easily carried a large majority of the vote in the Kentucky GOP primary race on Tuesday; he was pulling nearly 85% support in the early returns. Paul released a thank you message on Twitter.
“Kentucky, I want to thank you for voting for me to be your Republican nominee for Senator. I’m honored to serve and honored to have your vote. We have one more election this fall, and I hope I can count on your vote again,” Paul says in the message.
“As I do most weeks, I’m here in D.C. battling the socialists and petty tyrants. Kentucky and all of America deserve better than the massive spending, runaway debt, and crippling inflation that Biden, Pelosi and Schumer are giving us. I’m working every day to fight back, and I hope you’ll continue to support me and get out and vote this fall.”
