You might not know it from reading the headlines in the mainstream media rags, but former President Donald Trump had a big night; Trump-endorsed candidates won big victories in Kansas and Missouri.
“Won all of our Endorsed Races in Kansas and Missouri,” Trump wrote on TRUTH Social. “Great going ‘Eric.’ Big Night. Thank you!”
The name “Eric” appears in quotes as Trump jokingly said he would endorse Eric in the GOP Senate Primary race —but two candidates were named Eric. Attorney General Eric Schmitt went on to win the nomination.
According to Fox News, “in Kansas, Trump endorsed GOP gubernatorial candidate Derek Schmidt, who clinched his party’s nomination. Schmidt will now face off against incumbent Democrat Gov. Laura Kelly in November.”
In Arizona, Trump-backed Blake Masters won the GOP nomination for Senate and Eli Crane won the GOP nomination for AZ’s 2nd congressional district. Kari Lake and Karrin Taylor Robson are neck and neck in the race for the GOP nomination for governor, but Lake is expected to come out on top.
In Michigan, Trump-endorsed conservative commentator Tudor Dixon secured the GOP nomination to challenge Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer this November.
