Pro-Palestinian protesters from Columbia University flooded Penn Station during rush hour on Tuesday evening, shouting chants, waving, flags, and disrupting commuters.
From The New York Post:
Protesters were seen beelining toward the doors of Moynihan Train Hall, where Amtrak and the LIRR run.
When inside, demonstrators marched and stood for the uptown A train in swarms.
One demonstrator held the station’s door for fare-beating protesters before 50-100 crowded into the subway.
The protesters squished in with regular New Yorkers making rush hour commutes, with demonstrators chanting on the train.
“Uptown A train you will see,” protesters said, “Palestine is almost free!”
Demonstrators later got off at the subway at the 125th St. station, which is near Columbia University, a hotbed for pro-Palestinian protests in the Big Apple.
