PELOSI PANICS: Nancy SHOCKED at the 'OBNOXIOUS' HEIGHT of Trump's Border Wall

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.15.18

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi doubled-down on Democrats previous threats to block funding for President Trump’s border wall Thursday, telling journalists during her weekly briefing that the physical barrier has no place in “civilized society.”

Pelosi was making her weekly remarks when she was asked if liberal lawmakers had any intention of funding the President’s signature campaign promise to the American people.

“Should Democrats give border wall funding, for example, right now when there isn’t a hard deadline on the table like there was last month?” a reporter asked the former Speaker of the House.

“What do you think?” Pelosi fired-back. “I mean, should we give a border wall for nothing? No, I don’t think so.”

“First of all, I think the border: Did you see it? How high it is … I mean, really? In a civilized society, we do something like that? As obnoxious as it is. You know, that’s a community there with a border running through it? Okay, we have a difference of opinion on that, but a wall that big separating people? I mean really?” Pelosi said.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Federal Judge SIDES WITH TRUMP on Border Wall Construction

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.28.18

President Trump’s proposed border wall with Mexico got one step closer to construction this week, with a federal judge ruling against environmental activists and the state of California who challenged the physical barrier; claiming the “wall” would severely harm the region’s ecosystem.

US District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel ruled in favor of the Trump administration; swiping down a case that claimed a “border wall” would seriously violate existing environmental protection laws.

The President hailed the court’s decision on social media Wednesday morning, writing “I have decided that sections of the Wall that California wants built NOW will not be built until the whole Wall is approved. Big victory yesterday with ruling from the courts that allows us to proceed. OUR COUNTRY MUST HAVE BORDER SECURITY!”

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra slammed the court’s ruling, accusing the Trump administration of committing “federal overreach.”

“A medieval wall along the U.S.-Mexico border simply does not belong in the 21st century,” Becerra said.

'TOTAL CATASTROPHE': Four Separate IMMIGRATION BILLS FAIL in US Senate

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.16.18

Four separate immigration bills crashed and burned in the US Senate this week, capping off a week of fiery debate, negotiations, and eventually defeat as both the President’s proposal and a bipartisan bill failed to secure enough votes.

Trump’s four-part immigration plan -which would provide a pathway to citizenship for nearly two million ‘Dreamers,’ fund his border wall, and end “chain” migration- went down in defeat, with many Republicans joining their Democrat colleagues and sinking the bill in a 39-60 vote.

The Senate’s bipartisan deal also fell short just hours after Trump threatened to veto the bill he described as a “total catastrophe.”

“The Schumer-Rounds-Collins immigration bill would be a total catastrophe. @DHSgov says it would be ‘the end of immigration enforcement in America.’ It creates a giant amnesty (including for dangerous criminals), doesn’t build the wall, expands chain migration, keeps the visa,” Trump tweeted.

The Senate’s inability to pass any immigration deal comes as the March 5th deadline looms with the nation’s DACA program officially expiring; throwing into question the fate of millions of ‘Dreamers’ currently residing in the United States.
