NYC SPIRALS: Mayor to Install ‘Black Lives Matter’ Mural Near Trump Tower as Violence Spins Out of Control

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.24.20

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is set to install a ‘Black Lives Matter’ mural near Trump Tower; ignoring a 350% spike in shootings in the nation’s biggest metropolis.

“Mayor Bill de Blasio is planning to install a massive Black Lives Matter mural right outside Trump Tower in Manhattan, The Post has learned,” reports the New York Post. “Plans for the mural — which will be painted in yellow block letters along Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th streets — come as the city grapples with troubling surges in gun violence and illegal firework activity.

“Obviously he is doing it to antagonize the president,” a source said. “This is what he is concerned about while the city burns. What an amateur politician.”

Bill de Blasio pledged Tuesday to create a new task force to crackdown on his hometown’s unprecedented use of illegal fireworks this week; saying a “huge sting operation” will target illegal sellers across all five boroughs.

“We’re going to start a huge sting operation to go and get these illegal fireworks at the base, meaning everywhere they’re being sold around New York City and even where they are being sold in surrounding states that we know are flowing into New York City,” he said.

“The sheriff’s office, the FDNY, the NYPD have come together in an illegal fireworks task force. We will have over 40 officers from each of those three organizations, including 12 FDNY fire marshals. The NYPD intelligence bureau will be a part of this effort to help us track down where the fireworks are coming from to begin with. Deputy sheriffs will be out there addressing this at the root,” he added.

CHAOS NYC: Rioters Loot Manhattan Stores, De Blasio Describes Situation as ‘Limited Protest Activity’

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.01.20

Rioters smashed windows and looted stores in Manhattan late Sunday night after assembling for citywide protests following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis; a situation Mayor Bill de Blasio described as “limited protest activity.”

“Fox News crews on the scene in SoHo reported hundreds of people stealing from luxury stores – including Chanel and Dior – for hours on Sunday night going into the early hours of Monday morning. The looters were seen piling shoplifted merchandise into vehicles while others rode off with the merchandise in black garbage bags balanced on CitiBikes,” reports Fox news.

“Most of the day we had large crowds throughout the city in multiple boroughs [on Sunday]. But when it got dark, things changed and it changed rapidly,” Shea said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” on Monday morning. “We anticipated it, but you saw large groups of people had no inclination to all this protest once it got dark, particularly in the area of SoHo between Canal and West Broadway. We had a number of stores broken into.”
