NYC CHAOS: Three Detained Outside New York GOP Headquarters

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.15.18

At least three individuals were arrested outside the Republican Party’s New York City headquarters over the weekend as “violent clashes” broke-out during a speaking event at the historic venue, reports CBS New York.

“Three people were arrested in New York City following violent clashes after a speech by the founder of a far-right group, and police say they are reviewing video and may make additional arrests,” writes CBS.

“According to authorities, Finbarr Slonim, Kai Russo, and Caleb Perkins were taken into custody after police arrived at the Metropolitan Republican Club around 8 p.m. on Friday,” adds the author.

The incident came just hours before Antifa protesters and their political rivals viciously brawled on the streets of downtown Oregon Sunday night.

The attacks follow heated rhetoric from leading Democrats -including Maxine Waters and Eric Holder- just weeks before the 2018 midterm elections.

Spray-paint is left on the doors.

The attackers left an ominous note at the scene, saying “The U.S. government has established concentration camps around the country for Latino people, shamelessly murdering black people, and continues its war machine that has slaughtered Muslim people with impunity for decades.”

“Our attack is merely a beginning. We are not passive, we are not civil, and we will not apologize. Those of good conscience and clear mind know this state of oppression cannot remain. The US fascist political system is one of the most savage institutions in history and we will combat it relentlessly until all are free of American barbarism,” adds the note.

ON THIN ICE: New Poll Shows 72% of Democrats DON’T SUPPORT ICE

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.24.18

A stunning new poll from Pew Research revealed a major partisan divide surrounding the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency Tuesday, with the survey showing a vast majority of Democrats view the department “unfavorably.”

The public attitude towards the agency was split evenly between the GOP and liberal voters, with 72% of Republicans viewing ICE favorably compared with 72% of Democrats who viewed ICE “unfavorably.”

The poll was conducted between July 11 and July 15th among 1,007 adults through telephone interviews.

The stark divide highlights the growing split between voters regarding immigration as multiple liberal politicians -including former President Barack Obama and NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio- called for the outright abolishment of ICE; saying the agency was beyond “broken.”
