The United Kingdom took its war against obesity to the next-level this week; instituting new rules and regulations that may require supermarkets and restaurants to “shrink pizzas” or “remove toppings” under the harsh guidelines.
According to the Telegraph, the new government plan would impose strict calorie caps on pies, ready-made meals, sandwiches and other easy-access items available throughout the country at stores and markets.
“Under the draft proposals, a standard pizza for one should contain no more than 928 calories – far less than many sold by takeaways, restaurants and shops. And the recommendations suggest that a savoury pie should contain no more than 695 calories,” writes the Telegraph.
“Earlier this week officials met with retailers, manufacturers, including Dominos’s pizza, Deliveroo, Just Eat, Macdonalds and KFC to discuss proposed ‘calorie caps’ on thousands of popular foods,” adds the article.

ANARCHY IN THE UK: See Hannity's EXCLUSIVE Photos from INSIDE TRUMP Protest
Donald Trump traveled to the United Kingdom for the first time as President of the United States of America this week, sparking a fierce backlash from left-wing Londoners and their leader Mayor Sadiq Khan.
Sean Hannity’s team was in the UK Capital to witness the liberal demonstrations first hand Friday as thousands of protesters hit the streets to show their opposition to the President’s “racist” and “xenophobic” policies.
The Mayor of London raised international headlines earlier this year when he urged British Prime Minister Theresa May to disinvite Trump to the United Kingdom, saying he “was not welcome” in the capital.

BLOODY BRITAIN: Three Teenagers SHOT, One DEAD in UK Capital
The escalating crime wave sweeping the UK capital continued over the weekend; with three teenagers shot as London’s murder rate soars and violence swirls out of control.
According to Yahoo News, two teenagers were gunned down in “broad daylight” in the British capital, just a day after another young man was shot and killed.
The victims were between the ages of 13 and 17 years-old.
“No firearm has been recovered and there have been no arrests, with officers investigating whether the incidents were linked,” writes Yahoo. “The incident came just hours after a 17-year-old boy was shot in Southwark, south London, on Saturday evening and died at the scene.”
The UK capital’s stunning crime wave made international headlines last month when Britain’s largest city saw a murder rate higher than New York City for the first time in recorded history.
Mayor Sadiq Khan has repeatedly called for a crackdown on knives and other weapons, but the escalating use of firearms raises new security concerns throughout the UK where guns are effectively banned from the public.
