NANCY’S NEW CHARGE: Speaker Pelosi Accuses White House of ‘Cover-Up’ Over Ukraine Call

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.26.19

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi accused the Trump administration of “covering up” a phone call between the President of the United States and the leader of Ukraine Thursday; hours after opening an official impeachment inquiry.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., responded Thursday to allegations that the Trump White House sought to limit access to the written record of a now-controversial call between the president and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky by calling it ‘a cover-up’ — suggesting the Democratic caucus will plow ahead with its impeachment inquiry,” reports Fox News.

“When you have a system for electronic storage that is specifically not used and you have something that is politically helpful for the president and you hide it someplace else, that is a cover-up,” charged Pelosi.

The President firing back at Democrats on social media; saying “stock markets will crash” if far-left lawmakers move forward on impeachment proceedings.

“If they actually did this the markets would crash. Do you think it was luck that got us to the best Stock Market and Economy in our history. It wasn’t!” posted Trump on Twitter Thursday morning.

The President made similar comments earlier Thursday; accusing the Democrats of attempting to “destroy” the GOP.

“THE DEMOCRATS ARE TRYING TO DESTROY THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND ALL THAT IT STANDS FOR. STICK TOGETHER, PLAY THEIR GAME, AND FIGHT HARD REPUBLICANS. OUR COUNTRY IS AT STAKE!” posted Trump on Twitter.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke with reporters at the United Nations General Assembly Wednesday; saying he had a “great phone call” with President Trump and “there was no pressure.”

“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during a meeting in New York with President Trump, told reporters Wednesday that he was not pressured to investigate the Biden family during their now-controversial phone call over the summer,” reports Fox News.

“Nobody pushed me,” Zelensky said.

“We had a great phone call,” Zelensky added. “It was normal.”

“In other words, there was no pressure and you know there was no pressure,” added President Trump.

BOOKER IMPLODES: Failing Cory Describes Trump Supporters as Most ‘Despicable Actors’ in US History

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.25.19

Failing presidential hopeful Cory Booker slammed President Trump’s “enablers” Wednesday, saying history will judge his supporter as the most “despicable actors” in the history of the United States.

“Those people who are enabling him, who witness the kind of things he does on a regular basis… Those people that are enabling him, there’s a cold, frigid place under the historical eye. They will go down in history as despicable actors who have enabled a president who’s doing some of the worst things in that office in the history of our country,” said Booker.

“The truth about Donald Trump will come out… I have a very low regard for people who know he’s doing wrong but defend him and empower him to remain in that office,” he added.

The White House released the official transcript Wednesday morning of a private phone conversation between President Trump and the leader of Ukraine; ending days of speculation as Democrats continue their renewed push for impeachment.

The call took place July 25, 2019 between 9:03am and 9:33am from the President’s residence .

“There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great,” Trump said in the phone call. “Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it…It sounds horrible to me.”

“That refers to Joe Biden, while vice president, urging Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, while Shokin was investigating the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings — where Hunter Biden was on the board. Biden has maintained that corruption concerns prompted his intervention,” reports Fox News.

“I will have Mr. Giuliani give you call and I’m also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to the bottom if it. I’m sure you will figure it out,” the President concluded.

“Will the Democrats apologize after seeing what was said on the call with the Ukrainian President? They should, a perfect call – got them by surprise!” posted the President on social media before releasing the transcript.

BREAKING: Speaker Nancy Pelosi Officially Opens Impeachment Inquiry into President Trump

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.24.19

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi officially endorsed an impeachment inquiry into President Trump Tuesday evening; announcing her plan after days of media speculation regarding the Commander-in-Chief’s private conversation with the leader of Ukraine.

“I am currently at the United Nations representing our Country, but have authorized the release tomorrow of the complete, fully declassified and unredacted transcript of my phone conversation with President Zelensky of Ukraine,” posted Trump on Twitter. “You will see it was a very friendly and totally appropriate call. No pressure and, unlike Joe Biden and his son, NO quid pro quo! This is nothing more than a continuation of the Greatest and most Destructive Witch Hunt of all time!”

“The decision sets up an election season clash between Trump and Congress that seems certain to exacerbate the nation’s fierce partisan divides and inject deep uncertainty into the 2020 presidential contest. The probe is expected to focus in part on reports that Trump pressed Ukraine’s president to help investigate Democratic rival Joe Biden,” reports the Associated Press.
