MSNBC anchor Nicole Wallace unloaded on the President’s supporters this week; saying the real “mobs” in America are not those harassing GOP politicians in restaurants and airports across the country, but those attending Trump rallies.
Wallace was commenting on the President’s recent use of the term “mob” in describing radical, left-wing protests against GOP leaders in the wake of Brett Kavanaugh’s brutal confirmation battle.
“I want to talk about the word mob,” she said. “The mobs I see are people who go to Trump rallies and laugh when Donald Trump mimics the testimony of an alleged victim of sexual assault. The mobs I see are the people who cheer when Donald Trump trots out the word, ‘I’m a nationalist’ and tells people to ignore the negative connotations, the lessons of history about what that’s associated with.”
Wallace’s comments comes just days after fellow MSNBC host Rachel Maddow compared the President’s posts on social media with pamphlets distributed by the Ku Klux Klan during the Civil Rights movement.

HIT JOB? Liberals SLAM GOP's Use of Term ‘MOB’ to Describe Left-Wing Protests
Liberal activists, left-wing legislators, and the mainstream media lashed-out at conservatives and GOP pundits this week over their use of the term “mob” to describe the outrageous, often-violent protests staged by Democrats in the wake of Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation process.
“Liberal protesters – egged on by Democratic politicians – are openly embracing a more confrontational and aggressive approach, banging on the doors of the Supreme Court, confronting lawmakers outside their offices and chasing GOP officials out of restaurants,” writes Fox News.
“The radical Democrats have turned into an angry mob,” said President Trump during a political rally this week.
“Women across the country came together around this nomination to say #MeToo, to stand up against sexual abusers and harassers,” Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., tweeted this week “And all Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and Republican leaders have to say to them is that they’re a mob. Disgraceful.”

‘MOB’ MENTALITY: Top Dem Says ‘MOB’ Same Term Used by ‘Segregationists’ in 1960s
Democratic philanthropist, activist, and billionaire Tom Steyer weighed-in this week on President Trump’s use of the term “mob” to describe violent anti-GOP activists throughout the country; suggesting similar language was used by “segregationists” in the 1960s.
Steyer was speaking with MSNBC when he was asked to comment on Trump’s use of the term during a recent rally; saying “Listen, this is a line that people have been using to put down broad-based protests since the civil rights movement.”
“This ‘mob’ statement is something that segregationists used to justify strong police actions against completely legal nonviolent protests,” he added. “So I look at this as absolutely another Republican move to try to inflame people, to try to scare people about what is really going on.”
