Former President Barack Obama’s Solicitor General viciously compared President Trump to Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin Thursday morning; saying the Commander-in-Chief should be “paranoid” about those seeking to undermine his administration.
Neal Katyal was speaking on MSNBC when he was asked whether the President has the “right” to be paranoid over repeated leaks and outright obstruction from inside his own administration.
“With Bob Woodward’s book, with the op-ed, doesn’t the President have a right to be paranoid?” asked MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle.
“Look, he’s right to be paranoid. I don’t know if he has a right to be paranoid. He’s right to be paranoid. I mean, just as Stalin had a right to be paranoid and was paranoid,” Katyal said.

MEDIA MELTDOWN: CNN Article Compares JOURNALISTS to US Soldiers, Veterans
CNN found itself in hot-water among US soldiers and veterans over the weekend, publishing a story that compared America’s journalists to those who have fought and died defending our freedoms.
The article, titled “The press isn’t the enemy, it’s the protector” was written by Joseph Holt and appeared on the network’s site Friday; urging Americans to “thank” reporters the same way they praise members of the military.
“We thank soldiers for their service because they devote themselves to protecting our freedoms, and we should. But we should also thank the media for the same reason — especially when the stakes have never been higher,” writes Holt.
Criticism of the article went viral on social media within minutes, with a reporter for the Daily Caller calling the story “disgraceful” and “minimizing the true sacrifice of our armed forces.”

The New York Daily News took its all-out war with the Trump administration to a stunning new low Tuesday, slamming First Daughter Ivanka Trump as a “ghoul” during her international visit to the Middle East.
The left-leaning paper viciously attacked the President’s daughter hours after she officially dedicated the new US embassy in Jerusalem; accusing her of being “all smiles” at the opening ceremony while Israeli forces clashed with Palestinian protesters just miles away.
The Daily News posted the cover of the newspaper on social media, simply labeling the First Daughter “deplorable.”
