Sen. Orrin Hatch unloaded on his Democratic colleagues and their left-wing activists Thursday; saying “sick people” are attempting to turn Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process into a political “circus.”
Hatch directly praised Kavanaugh’s poise and patience during his nomination hearings this week, saying “Confirmation hearings are supposed to be an opportunity for the American people to hear from the nominee.”
“Unfortunately, it seems some on the political left have decided to try to turn this hearing into a circus,” he added.
“It’s bad enough that Supreme Court nominations have turned into all out war against the nominee, have we really reached the point where anyone who supports or even sits behind a nominee must also be destroyed?” he asked.
CLINTON WADES IN: Hillary SOUNDS ALARM over Trump’s Supreme Court Pick
Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton sounded the alarm over Brett Kavanaugh’s potential spot on the Supreme Court Wednesday; slamming the judge in a series of scathing posts on social media.
The former Secretary of State blasted Kavanaugh on Twitter as he faced his second day of Congressional hearings; claiming his nomination would “gut” Roe v. Wade and other women’s rights across the country.
If Brett Kavanaugh becomes a Supreme Court justice, will he help gut or overturn Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion in America? Yes, of course he will.

As a federal judge, Kavanaugh tried to prevent a young undocumented woman in government custody from exercising her right to an abortion.

It's remarkable that we have to keep repeating this, even in 2018: Women's rights are human rights, and human rights are women's rights.

Clinton re-emerged into the national spotlight last month, confirming a series of speaking events in New York, Chicago, and California to help Democrats retake control of Congress this fall.
ELLISON UNHINGED: DNC Deputy Says Dems Could ‘THEORETICALLY IMPEACH’ Judges
Deputy Chair of the DNC Keith Ellison raised eyebrows throughout DC this week, bizarrely suggesting that Congressional Democrats could “theoretically impeach” Judge Brett Kavanaugh if confirmed to the US Supreme Court.
Ellison was speaking before a packed event in Washington, DC when he was asked if there was “any possibility” the House could remove a sitting Supreme Court Justice; saying “It’s probably not going to happen, but it could theoretically happen.”
“You’d have to find some evidence of like, corruption, or something like that,” said Ellison. “I will say that there have been lower court judges who have been impeached.”
“So I agree with Jill, it’s probably not going to happen, but it could theoretically happen,” he added.
