LOVER’S BOMBSHELL: Twiggs Says Robinson Confessed to Kirk Killing, Expressed Regret [WATCH]

The man identified as Tyler Robinson’s roommate and romantic partner testified that the murder suspect allegedly broke down in tears and admitted responsibility for the killing of Charlie Kirk just one day after the fatal shooting.

During a preliminary hearing, prosecutors played a recorded interview with Lance Twiggs, who told investigators Robinson allegedly confessed on Sept. 11 — the day after Kirk was killed — and expressed immediate regret.

“Didn’t go into detail… I just asked him in person if what he said was true the night before, and he said it was,” Twiggs said in the recorded interview shown in court.

“[He] started crying a little bit, and said he wishes he hadn’t done it.”

Twiggs added that Robinson allegedly told him he was considering turning himself in.

“Eventually, he said he would talk to his parents or turn himself over.”

Twiggs is not charged with any crime. Prosecutors said he received limited immunity from both the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Utah County Attorney’s Office in exchange for his testimony.

According to the testimony, Twiggs and Robinson lived together in St. George, Utah, where they were romantically involved before Robinson’s arrest.

Utah State Bureau of Investigation investigator Brian Davis testified that Twiggs’ statements were consistent with an interview police conducted on Sept. 12, 2025.

Davis said investigators also reviewed text messages, Discord conversations and a handwritten note allegedly written by Robinson during the days immediately following Kirk’s death.

Those communications, according to Davis’ testimony, were among the evidence examined during the investigation.

One of the more striking pieces of testimony centered on a conversation roughly a month before Kirk’s death.

Twiggs testified Robinson asked whether he had access to a Dremel tool because he allegedly wanted to engrave bullets.

“I don’t remember exactly when, but he had said he was planning to go hunting with his family and he asked me… if we had a Dremel, because he said he wanted to engrave messages on bullets,” Twiggs testified.

Prosecutors introduced the testimony as part of the preliminary hearing. Robinson has not been convicted, and the allegations remain subject to judicial proceedings.

Near the end of the recorded interview, Twiggs also told investigators that Robinson rarely discussed LGBTQ+ issues despite their relationship, saying he was far more interested in President Donald Trump and Trump’s policies.

Robinson, 23, has been charged in connection with Kirk’s killing and faces the death penalty if convicted.
