LIBERAL LOGIC: LA Mayor Plans to Tackle Homeless Crisis… By Painting New Murals of Homeless People

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.08.19

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti outlined his new plan to tackle the region’s skyrocketing homeless population this week; saying we must now “recognize our common humanity” with murals “highlighting” his city’s escalating housing crisis.

“To end homelessness, we have to recognize our common humanity. The #DearNeighborLA murals send a strong message of support for housing homeless Angelenos. The first mural highlights LaShawn, a homeless mother in South L.A. who is working to provide for her son,” posted the Mayor on social media.

The nation’s second largest city has an estimated 50,000 people living on the streets as rising rents and increased crime threaten to make the crisis worse in the coming months.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: 53% Consider ‘FLEEING’ the State Due to Crime, Homeless, Taxes, MORE

A stunning new survey published this week shows just how difficult life’s become for the average California resident; revealing a shocking 53% of those asked said they are considering “fleeing” the region over crime, housing, and high taxes.

“Fifty-three percent of Californians surveyed are considering fleeing, representing a jump over the 49 percent polled a year ago,” writes CNBC.

“There’s no doubt that California’s economy, for all of its strengths when it comes to innovation and creating these industries that people want to be part of, is struggling with high costs,” said a leading economist. “Costs have gotten way ahead of incomes in California, and that’s making a lot of people think about whether it’s worth the hurdles.”

“California just doesn’t strike them as reasonable,” he added.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Homeless Camps HALT TRAIN Traffic Across the State

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.17.18

The recent boom of makeshift homeless camps alongside California’s railroad tracks is creating a major headache for local commuters; slowing down train schedules and halting service due to unauthorized persons “trespassing” in the area.

According to Fox News, the “explosion” of tent villages across the state are frustrating residents and local authorities; prompting officials to issue an official “note” to passengers to explain delayed schedules and canceled service.

“The Capitol Corridor’s service in the past year, and particularly over the past six months, has not been up to the levels you are used to and have come to expect from us,” Managing Director David Kutrosky said in his note to riders.  “I know this is frustrating for you. It is frustrating, and unacceptable, for us as well.”

“It bears repeating, being on or alongside railroad tracks is not only unwise, but it is also illegal because technically that area, also called the ‘right of way,’ is owned by UP(Union Pacific),” Kutrosky added.

The explosion of homeless “tent towns” across the state have prompted a severe backlash against the encampments, with local governments in Orange County voting to dismantle the sites and relocate the homeless population to more permanent shelters.
