'IT ISN'T XENOPHOBIC!': Fetterman Pushes Dems to Hold Border Security Talks With GOP

The Keystone State Senator continues to surprise…

During a recent interview with Politico, Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) said it’s not xenophobic to hold border security talks, making him one of the few members of his party speaking out on the issue.

Fetterman’s comments come as the Biden Administration set the new 1-day record for migrant encounters at the southern border: 12,000.

“I hope Democrats can understand that it isn’t xenophobic to be concerned about the border,” Fetterman told POLITICO, alluding to those who argue there is racism in the enforcement of immigration laws. “It’s a reasonable conversation, and Democrats should engage.”

“Honestly, it’s astonishing. And this isn’t a Fox News kind of statistic. This is the government’s.” He added, “You essentially have Pittsburgh showing up there at the border.”

“I haven’t met anyone that can have a really crisp, cogent solution or easy solution on, ‘Well, what do you do when you have roughly a city similar in size of Pittsburgh coming up to the border?’” Fetterman added.

Meanwhile, migrants continue to breach the border in record numbers. Fox News’ Bill Melugin shared a video this week of illegal migrants walking in droves down a highway in Arizona.

“BREAKING: Masses of illegal immigrants walking down the middle of the highway in and out of Lukeville, AZ right now after another border wall breach and mass illegal crossing in a different area than our reports today. Lots of African men & families from MX & Ecuador,” Melugin shared on X.
