HERE COMES OVERSIGHT: Comer Committee Wants Transcripts of Robert Hur's Biden Interview

The House Oversight Committee is demanding the Justice Department turn over the transcripts of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with President Joe Biden.

The committee says the information is relevant to its impeachment inquiry.

“We are giving the Justice Department until February 19 at 5p to produce the transcript of President Biden’s interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur and other documents included in the report that relate to our impeachment inquiry. Americans deserve transparency about President Biden’s mental state and his mishandling of classified documents,” the GOP Oversight account posted on X.

Comer stopped by Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures to chat with Maria Bartiromo about President Biden’s increasingly alarming mental lapses and the importance of securing what his committee needs from the Department of Justice.

“We’ve been leading a major influence-peddling investigation of the President…we want to know exactly what those documents were and if Hur interviewed Hunter Biden and Jim Biden,” Comer said.

“We have a lot of questions about Hur’s report beyond the obvious he stated about the President’s mental capacity.”
