Billionaire Bill Gates urged all Americans and residents in other “rich countries” Tuesday to switch to “100% synthetic beef” to combat global warming and climate change in the years ahead.
“Impossible and Beyond have a road map, a quality road map and a cost road map, that makes them totally competitive,” Gates said, referencing popular plant-based meat corporations. “As for scale today, they don’t represent 1% of the meat in the world, but they’re on their way.”

“Eventually, that green premium is modest enough that you can sort of change the [behavior of] people or use regulation to totally shift the demand,” Gates said. “So for meat in the middle-income-and-above countries, I do think it’s possible.”
“I do think all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef,” concluded the Microsoft founder. “You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they’re going to make it taste even better over time.”

ECONOMICS 101: Bill Gates Says Cortez, Dems ‘Missing the Picture’ with 70% Tax Proposal
Microsoft founder and global philanthropist Bill Gates threw more cold-water on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ 70% tax proposal this week; saying the liberal lawmaker was “missing the picture” by imposing stiff taxes on wealthy Americans.
Gates was speaking with technology-focused podcast The Verge when he was asked to weigh-in on the Democrats’ recent push to impose a 70% to 90% tax rate on high-income earners.
“Certainly, the idea of government being more effective in terms of how it runs education or social programs, there’s a lot of opportunity for improvement there,” said Gates.
“In terms of revenue collection, you wouldn’t want to just focus on the ordinary income rate, because people who are wealthy have a rounding error of ordinary income,” he added.
“If you focus on that, you’re missing the picture,” concluded the Microsoft founder.

Soviet Style! Bernie Fantasizes About Bill Gates Paying $100 Billion in Taxes, Says ‘Would End Homelessness’
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders fantasized about technology mogul Bill Gates paying upwards of $100 Billion per year in taxes; saying the policy would “end homelessness” and provide “safe drinking water to everyone in this country.”
“Say Bill Gates was actually taxed $100 billion. We could end homelessness and provide safe drinking water to everyone in this country. Bill would still be a multibillionaire. Our message: the billionaire class cannot have it all when so many have so little,” posted Sanders on social media.

Sanders unveiled his latest immigration proposal Thursday; calling for the elimination of ICE, a stop in federal deportations, the admission of 50,000 ‘Climate Migrants’ and free healthcare for all.
“My father came to America as a refugee without a nickel in his pocket, to escape widespread anti-Semitism and find a better life,” Sanders said in a press release. “As the proud son of an immigrant, I know that my father’s story is the story of so many Americans today.”
“When I am in the White House we will stop the hatred towards our immigrant brothers and sisters, end family separation, and locking children up in cages. We will end the ICE raids that are terrorizing our communities, and on my first day as president, I will use my executive power to protect our immigrant communities and reverse every single horrific action implemented by Trump,” he said.
“Immigration is not a threat to national security,” his plan says. “It is long past time we break up the Department of Homeland Security and refocus its mission on keeping our country safe and responding effectively to emergencies.”
