New footage surfaced Thursday revealing a harrowing shootout between local police and an armed suspect at a hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

“The Columbus Division of Police released body camera footage, two days after 27-year-old Miles Jackson was fatally shot in an exchange of gunfire with Columbus police and Mount Carmel St. Ann’s hospital security on April 12, 2021,” reports Breaking911.

“A short time later, police said the video shows Jackson’s gun fire. Police said the bullet visibly left Jackson’s pocket and Krichbaum is seen struggling to disarm him. Howe is seen in the video firing his gun, but it malfunctioned. After the initial shots were fired, Jackson is down on the ground with officers pointing guns at him. Jackson is ordered to put his hands in the air several dozen times over the course of the next five minutes. Jackson told officers that he was leaning on the gun at one point. A Taser is eventually used on Jackson again. After the Taser was fired, a gun was fired, followed by a series of gunshots. Officers are then heard calling for medics to assist Jackson. An initial investigation by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation confirmed that Jackson was armed with a gun and fired shots,” adds the website.

‘LIKE THE BAD OLD DAYS’: 17 People Shot in NYC Monday in All Five Boroughs

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.14.20

At least 17 people were shot across New York City Monday as local officials continue to defund the NYPD by at least $1 billion; raising serious questions over safety and security in the Big Apple.

“Those numbers would be high for a Friday or Saturday, but for a Monday they are astronomical,” said one high-ranking Brooklyn cop.

“Seven of those shot in Brooklyn, including a 20-year-old man who was fatally blasted, were hit in five separate incidents in the borough’s 69th Precinct, which covers the Canarsie neighborhood, according to police and sources,” reports Fox News.

While crime spirals out of control, Mayor Bill de Blasio seems more focused on his ‘Black Lives Matter’ mural in front of Trump Tower.

“To whoever vandalized our mural on 5th Avenue: nice try. @NYC_DOT has already fixed it. The #BlackLivesMatter movement is more than words, and it can’t be undone,” posted de Blasio on social media.

CORY BOOKER: American Citizens Should Require ‘Federal License’ to Own Firearms

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.06.19

New Jersey Senator and potential 2020 Democratic candidate Cory Booker doubled-down on his demands for stricter gun control measures over the weekend; saying American citizens should require a “federal license” to own firearms.

“The national licensing proposal is one of 16 that the Democrat from New Jersey unveiled on Monday in what his campaign touted as the ‘most sweeping gun violence prevention plan ever put forth by a presidential candidate,’” reports Fox News.

According to Booker, “a gun license demonstrates that a person is eligible and can meet certain safety and training standards necessary to own a gun.”

The liberal legislator said his policy expands upon “rigorous evidence at the state level demonstrating the connection between gun licensing and reduction in gun violence.”
