Trey Gowdy stopped by ‘Hannity’ Monday night to comment on the Attorney General’s recent appointment of a US attorney to investigate the origins of the Russia probe; saying he wants to know how the FBI “assessed” Christopher Steele and his now-debunked dossier.
“What questions would you like answered?” asked Hannity.
“This is the fourth person in charge of investigating the origins of the Russia probe, so I’m more interested in how quickly they do it and how effectively they do it,” said Gowdy.
“There’s an easy roadmap to follow… I want to know the origins of when the bureau began to intermingle the Trump campaign with the Russia probe. What are the origins? Then I want to know how the FBI assessed Christopher Steele; they have their own internal documents,” he added.

GOWDY GOES NUCLEAR: Trey NUKES Comey for ‘TEXTBOOK BIAS’ in Clinton Case
Rep. Trey Gowdy unloaded on former FBI director James Comey during Congressional testimony Tuesday, slamming the bureau boss for “textbook bias” in his handling of the botched Clinton investigation.
Gowdy was speaking before the House Judiciary Committee when he unloaded on the ex-FBI chief for “prejudging” the outcome of Hillary’s investigation months before he was able to review all the relevant facts.
“If prejudging the outcome of an investigation before it ends and prejudging the outcome of an investigation before it begins is not evidence of outcome determinative bias, for the life of me, I don’t know what would be,” Gowdy said.
“Former Director Comey violated Department policy in several significant ways,” Gowdy added days ago. “The FBI’s actions and those of former Director Comey severely damaged the credibility of the investigation, the public’s ability to rely on the results of the investigation, and the very institutions he claims to revere.”

GOWDY GOES OFF: Trey Says ‘NO EVIDENCE’ Trump Colluded, Schiff ‘Would Have Leaked It’
GOP Rep. Trey Gowdy utterly unloaded on the never-ending Russia investigation over the weekend, saying he has seen “no evidence” the Trump administration “colluded” with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election.
Schiff was speaking with Fox News Sunday when he was asked to comment on special counsel Robert Mueller’s year-long probe; adding that if there were any credible evidence it would have already been leaked by Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff.
“I have not seen one scintilla of evidence that this president colluded, conspired, collaborated, with Russia. And neither has anyone else, or you can rest assured, Adam Schiff would have leaked it,” Gowdy said.
“That is why they have moved on from collusion on to obstruction of justice, which is now their current preoccupation,” he added.
