Fox News channel easily “crushed” the competition in October; beating CNN and MSNBC’s “combined viewership” and posting a staggering 2.8 million average primetime viewers this fall.
“FNC averaged 1.7 million total viewers to finish as the most-watched basic cable network for the 28th straight month. Rupert Murdoch’s cable news network also topped all of basic cable during the primetime hours of 8-11 p.m. ET for the fifth consecutive month despite heavy competition from Major League Baseball playoffs and other major sporting events, such as NFL and NBA games,” writes Fox News.
Leading the charge for Fox was ‘Hannity’ with an average of 3.5 million viewers, making the network host the most watched program in cable news. Hannity was followed by ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight,’ ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ and ‘Special Report with Bret Baier.’
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow finished sixth in October, averaging 2.6 million viewers per broadcast.

FIREWORKS: Sean Hannity SCORCHES CNN'S PRESIDENT After Attacking Fox News
Sean Hannity didn’t hold back while addressing CNN President Jeff Zucker’s vicious attacks on Fox News Thursday, politely informing the left-leaning executive that anti-CNN chants at rallies throughout the country are no accident.
Hannity fired-back at Zucker for comments he made while addressing a media conference Thursday, labeling Fox News a “complete propaganda machine” for the Trump White House; adding “the idea that they are a news channel is not the case at all.”
The Fox News host slammed the CNN executive within minutes, unloading on the liberal network for its non-stop anti-Trump coverage, saying, “Jeff, there is a reason crowds chant ‘CNN Sucks.’
“We interrupt our 24-7 Stormy Daniels hate Trump coverage…….. CNN Fake News. Jeff, there is a reason crowds chant ‘CNN Sucks,'” tweeted Hannity.
