Hillary Clinton’s non-stop Excuses Tour continued over the weekend, when the twice-failed presidential candidate blamed the US Supreme Court for her inability to defeat Donald Trump in the swing-state of Wisconsin.
“The Congress is supposed to legislate based on evidence and facts, which we did. And then it gets up to the Supreme Court and they say, ‘No, you don’t need that anymore. We don’t need that voting rights stuff,” said Clinton during a speech in Alabama.
“I was the first person who ran for president without the protection of the Voting Rights Act and I will tell you it made it makes a really big difference and it doesn’t make a difference in Alabama and Georgia, it made a difference in Wisconsin where the best studies that have been done said somewhere between 40,000 and 80,000 people were turned away from the polls because of the color of their skin, because of their age, because of whatever excuse could be made up to stop a fellow American citizen from voting,” she added.
HILLARY UNHINGED: Clinton Says ‘Stacey Abrams Should be Governor’ of Georgia
Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton weighed-in on the issue of voter suppression in Alabama over the weekend; telling a packed audience at a Selma Anniversary breakfast that ‘Stacey Abrams should be governor” of Georgia.

“We see all of the phony obstacles to registering. We see all of the all of the suppressive efforts at the point of registration and even the point of voting. We see the longer lines. We see how all of this is designed to discourage, to depress, to prevent people from voting -particularly communities of color,” said Clinton.
“Candidates both black and white lost their races because they have been deprived of the votes they otherwise would have gotten. Stacey Abrams should be governor leading that state right now,” she added.
ANOTHER EXCUSE: Politico Blames Hillary's ELECTION DISASTER On... Local Newspapers?
Online magazine Politico achieved the impossible this weekend, finding a completely new excuse for Hillary Clinton’s surprise defeat to Donald Trump in November 2016; this time blaming “newspaper subscriptions” for the electoral landslide.
Politico published an article Sunday titled, “Trump thrives in areas that lack traditional news outlets,” suggesting the President was able to “Swamp Clinton” in areas that had low subscription rates to local newspapers.
The data suggests those voters relied on national news outlets and social media for information instead of more traditional media outlets such as newspapers and local television reports.
“President Donald Trump’s attacks on the mainstream media may be rooted in statistical reality: An extensive review of subscription data and election results shows that Trump outperformed the previous Republican nominee, Mitt Romney, in counties with the lowest numbers of news subscribers, but didn’t do nearly as well in areas with heavier circulation,” writes the author.
“The results show a clear correlation between low subscription rates and Trump’s success in the 2016 election, both against Hillary Clinton and when compared to Romney in 2012,” adds the article.
