ENOUGH: President Trump Imposes New Tariffs on ALL Mexican Products to Stop ‘Migrant Caravans’

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.31.19

President Trump imposed stiff new tariffs on all Mexican products Thursday night; saying the pressure is a direct response to Mexico’s refusal to crackdown on illegal immigration and ‘migrant caravans’ traveling through the country from Central America.

“In a surprise announcement that could derail a major trade deal, President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he is slapping a 5% tariff on all Mexican imports, effective June 10, to pressure the country to do more to crack down on the surge of Central American migrants trying to cross the U.S. border,” reports the Associated Press.

The Commander-in-Chief threatened to raise the tariffs from 5% to 25% “until the Illegal Immigration problem is remedied.”

“The decision showed the administration going to new lengths, and looking for new levers, to pressure Mexico to take action — even if those risk upending other policy priorities, like the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, a trade deal that is the cornerstone of Trump’s legislative agenda and seen as beneficial to his reelection effort. It also risks further damaging the already strained relationship between the U.S. and Mexico, two countries whose economics are deeply intertwined,” adds the AP.

“Mexico has taken advantage of the United States for decades. Because of the Dems, our Immigration Laws are BAD. Mexico makes a FORTUNE from the U.S., have for decades, they can easily fix this problem. Time for them to finally do what must be done!” posted the President on social media.

“Hard to believe that with the Crisis on the Border, the Dems won’t do the quick and easy fix. Would solve the problem but they want Open Borders, which equals crime!” he added.

BETO BOMBSHELL: New Video Shows Staffers Used Campaign Funds to ‘ILLEGALLY AID’ Migrant Caravan

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.01.18

Unbelievable undercover footage released by Project Veritas Thursday raises serious legal and ethical questions surrounding Beto O’Rourke’s senate campaign; revealing top staffers potentially violated federal law by using campaign finances to help undocumented workers traveling with the ‘migrant caravan.’

The bombshell video shows O’Rourke’s field manager and others scheming to help the migrants after crossing into the US; suggesting campaign workers use donations and other official funds and resources to assist Central American migrants entering the United States.

“You know that migrant caravan? A few of them got here already and they’re dropping them off like really close,” said a campaign field manager. “I’m going to get some food right now and some stuff to drop off.”

“Don’t ever repeat this stuff but like, if we just say we’re buying some food for an event, like Halloween events,” suggested another staffer.

“That’s not a horrible idea, but I didn’t hear anything,” said the manager. “I think we can use that with [prepaid campaign debit cards] to buy some food, all that sh*t can be totally masked.”

BORDER CHAOS: El Paso Under Pressure as ‘Migrant Surge’ Strains Resources, 600+ PER DAY

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.04.19

Local authorities in El Paso, Texas continued their struggle with members of the ‘migrant caravan’ illegally crossing the border this week; saying officials are unable to cope with upwards of 600 immigrants arriving on a daily basis.

“Federal agencies have re-directed agents to deal with a growing wave of migrants and the president is threatening to close the border. Meanwhile, local shelters face a daily dilemma: 500 to 600 new arrivals who need somewhere to go,” reports the Texas Tribune.

“Most of the migrants are Central American families and unaccompanied minors, and their numbers have grown by 340 percent — about 136,150 family units were apprehended on the southwest border between October and February,” adds the article.

“While only legislation can fix this crisis in the long term, we cannot wait for Congress to act,” said DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.
