A stunning new report from Sara Carter sheds new light on the blatant political bias at the highest levels of the Department of Justice immediately after the 2016 election, with new emails showing the FBI had “concerns” regarding the intelligence community’s assessment that Russia interfered in the race.
“The FBI had concerns with the intelligence community’s (IC) January 2017 assessment that the Kremlin interfered in the presidential election with the specific intent of electing President Trump over Hillary Clinton,” writes Carter.
“In newly obtained emails, bureau officials noted there was not enough intelligence to support the January 2017 findings by the CIA which concluded Vladimir Putin meddled in the 2016 election to help Trump,” she adds.
“However, while Strzok, Comey and others were disputing the findings of former CIA Director John Brennan and former DNI Director James Clapper behind closed doors, the public perception was that the FBI agreed with the intelligence community’s assessment,” Carter writes.

STRZOK STRIKES BACK: Fired FBI Agent SLAMS TRUMP, Creates ONLINE FUNDRAISER
Disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok released a lengthy statement following his recent firing Monday, creating an online fundraiser to help cover his mounting “legal costs” and “lack of income” after he was removed from the bureau for anti-Trump texts.
Strzok’s team launched an official GoFundMe page just hours after the agent’s attorney confirmed he was terminated from the agency late last week.
The site has raised over $30,000 as of Monday afternoon.
“For the last year, Pete, his work, and his character have been the target of highly politicized attacks, including frequent slanderous statements from President Trump, who actively—and apparently successfully—pressured FBI officials to fire Pete,” writes the site.
“All funds raised on this GoFundMe will be put into a trust dedicated to covering Pete’s hefty – and growing – legal costs and his lost income. The trust is being created and details about its management will be shared here as things progress,” adds the author.

STRZOK STRIKES: Anti-Trump FBI Agent Claims Texts were Rooted in 'DEEP PATRIOTISM'
Anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok lashed-out at GOP lawmakers during his fiery testimony Thursday, claiming his politically charged text messages were based in his “deep patriotism.”
Strzok was addressing Congressional leaders this week when he was pressed on whether his private communications revealed deep-rooted political bias at the FBI and the DOJ.

“I think it’s important when you look at those texts that you understand the context in which they were made and the things going on across America,” said Strzok. “I can assure you Mr. Chairman, at no time in any of these texts did these personal beliefs ever enter the realm of any action I’ve taken.”

“Having worked in national security for two decades and proudly served in the US Army those opinions were expressed out of deep patriotism and an unyielding belief in our great American democracy,” Strzok added. “At times my criticism was blunt, but despite how it has been characterized it was not limited to one person or one party.”
