Americans are growing suspicious of the FBI.
According to a recently released Rasmussen poll, 60% of likely U.S. voters believe the Federal Bureau of Investigation covered up crimes for President Joe Biden and his family.
“It’s a big problem,” said retired U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, a former GOP presidential candidate. “We need to have established law and order that people understand what the laws are, and that there will be consequences for failure to obey the law. And that has been eroded completely, and that by design unravels the society
“So then when you lose that level of confidence, it takes a long time to build it back up again. But we have two, that is our challenge. We have to have a complete overhaul of the current DOJ and FBI and the CIA, quite frankly, and we have to restore confidence in the American government,” she told the John Solomon Reports podcast.
The survey polled 999 likely U.S. voters and was conducted between June 4 and June 6 with a margin of sampling error of +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. You can see the survey question wording here.
