Thousands of protesters descended upon Washington, DC Monday; shutting down traffic, causing chaos on busy downtown streets, and calling for a “Birth Strike” to help combat climate change.
Posters appeared on street corners across the Capitol over the weekend, writing “Every Billionaire is Bad” and “Eat the Rich.”

Demonstrators held similar protesters across the world, including London.
A top lawyer in the United Kingdom took his country’s crusade to fight climate change to the next level this week; saying the consumption of meat products could be “banned” like tobacco and other controlled substances.
“Eating meat could be banned like smoking, one of Britain’s foremost barristers has predicted, as he called for the offence of ‘ecocide’ to be introduced to prosecute those who damage the nature on a massive scale,” reports the Telegraph. “Michael Mansfield QC warned that the farming of livestock for meat was destroying the planet and called for legislation to criminalise those who cause global warming and the wilful destruction of wildlife . In a message delivered at the launch of the Vegan Now campaign, which encourages people to stop eating meat and dairy, Mansfield said he had a ‘single message’ to make ecocide a crime.”
“I think when we look at the damage eating meat is doing to the planet it is not preposterous,” he told the crowd.
ANOTHER NEW DEAL? Warren Proposes Using US MILITARY to Combat Climate Change
Firebrand Senator and potential 2020 presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren unveiled her latest proposal to combat climate change Monday; suggesting the use of the US military to confront global warming.
“In short, climate change is real, it is worsening by the day, and it is undermining our military readiness. And instead of meeting this threat head-on, Washington is ignoring it — and making it worse,” writes Warren in an op-ed published by Medium.
“We have the most capable military in the world. It’s also the single largest government consumer of energy, and it’s dependent on fossil fuels. The Pentagon spends about $4 billion a year to power its bases at fixed locations and consumes tens of billions of barrels of fuel per year,” she adds.
“Nibbling around the edges of the problem is no longer enough — the urgency of the moment demands more. That’s why today I am introducing my Defense Climate Resiliency and Readiness Act to harden the U.S. military against the threat posed by climate change, and to leverage its huge energy footprint as part of our climate solution,” concludes Warren.
Together, we can work with our military to fight climate change. https://t.co/fYixnw11bz

The far-left Senator’s comments come weeks after she unveiled a series of new government programs that economists say will cost US taxpayers trillions per year.
“If we put a 2% tax on the wealthiest families in the country, we can provide universal Pre-K, universal free college, knock back student loan debt for 95% of Americans—and still have a trillion dollars leftover,” claimed Warren on social media.

According to leading economists, the Senator’s proposal to forgive student loan debt and introduce tuition-free public colleges would cost over $1.25 trillion over the next decade.
AOC EXPLODES: Cortez Says She ‘Doesn’t Care Anymore’, Screams ‘I’m the Boss’ on Climate Change
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continued to deflect criticism of her ‘Green New Deal’ over the weekend; repeatedly yelling “I’m the boss” when it comes to climate-change policy and future legislation.
“You know what? I don’t care anymore. Again, I’m at least trying and they’re not. The power is in the person who’s trying regardless of the success. If you’re trying you’ve got all the power,” claimed Cortez.

“I just introduced ‘Green New Deal’ two weeks ago and it’s creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else has even tried… You try, you do it. Because you’re not. Until you do it, I’m the boss. How about that?” she yelled.
