CASTRO’S DANGEROUS GAME: Man ‘Outed as Trump Donor’ Fears for Family’s Safety

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.09.19

A man wrongly outed as a donor to President Trump by Rep. Joaquin Castro now fears for his family’s safety; telling Fox News the development prompted him to review “situational awareness” with his wife and children.

“A San Antonio man was wrongly outed on Twitter as a donor to President Trump by Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro and said Friday the incident forced him to review emergency plans with his wife and three children,” reports Fox News.

“Harper Huddleston said that his name appeared on Castro’s list instead of the name of his retired father, who contributed to the Trump campaign. He said the mix-up was because they share the same first name, but have different middle names, though his father does not go by the name Harper,” adds Fox.

“We convened together as a family and talked about situational awareness, exit strategy, avoiding and exiting conflict, talked about staying low and close to home and just being at our very highest senses,” said Huddleston.

The backlash against Rep. Joaquin Castro continued to build Wednesday when his own donor complained after his identity appeared on a list of Trump supporters published by the Texas lawmaker.

“Trump donors whose names and employers were posted in a highly controversial tweet by Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro blasted the Texas congressman on Wednesday for what they described as a ‘ridiculous’ stunt and, in interviews with Fox News, rejected his claim that they are ‘fueling a campaign of hate’ against Hispanics,” reports Fox News. “One of those Trump donors even revealed he’s also been a supporter of local Democratic lawmakers—including Castro himself.”

“Wayne Harwell, the owner of a local real estate development company whose name appeared on the list Castro shared on Monday night, told Fox News in a phone interview that he donated money to Castro’s congressional campaign. But he suggested that after Castro outed him in a bid to shame Trump supporters, he won’t be supporting Castro anymore,” adds Fox.

“I was also on a list of people that gave to Castro and if he dislikes me enough that he wants to put my name out there against Trump, I’m not going to give money to him,” Harwell told Fox News. “Obviously Castro feels pretty strongly against me.”

“I’m pretty independent, but I support Trump,” Harwell explained.

“I think some of the Democratic rhetoric is more hateful than some of Trump’s rhetoric,” he said. “I think the San Antonio community needs to take a real deep look at what Castro is doing. Why is he doing this?”

CRUZ RIPS CASTRO: Ted Cruz Says Publishing GOP Donors’ Identities ‘Wrong’ and ‘Hateful’

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.07.19

Texas Senator Ted Cruz slammed Rep. Joaquin Castro’s decision to publish the identities of San Antonio Trump donors this week; calling on all sides to “tone the hateful partisan rhetoric way down” in the aftermath of two mass shootings.

“EVERYONE needs to tone the hateful partisan rhetoric way down. This is WRONG & Castro should retract it. In our constitutional Republic, the People rightly hold their representatives accountable; elected representatives should not be vilifying & doxxing their own constituents,” posted Cruz on social media.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy called Castro’s post “shameful and dangerous.”

“Targeting and harassing Americans because of their political beliefs is shameful and dangerous. What happened to ‘when they go low, we go high?’ Or does that no longer matter when your brother is polling at 1%? Americans deserve better,” posted McCarthy on Twitter.

DANGEROUS GAME: Rashida Tlaib Supports Releasing the Names of GOP Donors Because They ‘Fund Racism’

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.07.19

Controversial Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib supported the release of private citizens’ personal information on social media this week; saying the public has a right to know “who funds racism” in America.

“Chairman Castro, They don’t like it when you name their donors. The public needs to know who funds racism,” posted Tlaib on Twitter.

Disturbing footage emerged on social media last month showing Tlaib being forcibly removed from a Trump campaign event in 2016.

“She’s like a crazed lunatic. She’s screaming, this is before she got into Congress. Who elected her? She’s screaming like a total lunatic at one of our rallies… She starts screaming, this is not a sane person. This is what we’re up against,” said Trump.

Stunning footage emerged on social media over the weekend showing now-Representative Rashida Tlaib being forcibly removed from a Donald Trump event in Michigan back in August 2016.

“Years before Rep. Rashida Tlaib was speaking out against President Trump in Congress, she was shouting at him as Secret Service members dragged her out of a meeting at the Detroit Economic Club,” reports Fox News.

“Video of the August 2016 incident, which has gone viral since resurfacing over the weekend, shows the current congresswoman shouting as then-candidate Trump delivered a speech before business leaders. While being escorted out of the room, she continued to jump and yell at those in attendance,” adds Fox.

“You guys are crazy!” Tlaib is heard screaming as she’s removed from the event.
