Americans in the southeastern section of the country had flashbacks of the 1979 Oil Crisis this week when gas stations began rationing fuel in the aftermath of a major cyberattack against a pivotal pipeline.
“The closure of the 5,500-mile Colonial Pipeline, which carries more than 100 million gallons of fuel from Texas to New Jersey each day, has stretched into its fifth day,” reports the New York Post.
“It sparked wild scenes of panic buying across Georgia, Florida, Virginia and South Carolina — with North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp even declaring states of emergency in their areas. Kemp also issued an executive order suspending Georgia’s gas tax through Saturday to help offset the costs of higher fuel prices,” adds the newspaper.
“I DON’T HAVE ANY GAS AND THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA DOESN’T HAVE GAS!! WHAT IN THE 2021 IS GOING ON !!” one panicked driver tweeted.
“I’ve seen all these cars waiting and I was like, ‘OMG. I have to fill my tank up!’” said another.

LEVIN ON HANNITY: Americans MUST STOP Apologizing for Iran’s Brutal Regime
Best-selling author and radio host Mark Levin spoke with Sean Hannity Thursday night just hours after Iran shot-down a US drone in the Middle East; saying Americans who “know better” should stop apologizing for leaders in Tehran.
“We’re starting to get propaganda coming out of the mouths of Americans, Americans who should know better… Stop apologizing for Iran. What I’m hearing is a bunch of people who are embracing Jimmy Carter’s foreign policy of appeasement,” said Levin.
“You can embrace Jimmy Carter’s foreign policy, or you can embrace Ronald Reagan’s foreign policy… There’s now a clear campaign against John Bolton. I’m sure China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran love it when they hear people trashing John Bolton,” he added.
President Trump confirmed Friday morning he called-off a retaliatory attack against Iran “10 minutes” before the mission; saying the operation was not “proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone.”
“President Obama made a desperate and terrible deal with Iran – Gave them 150 Billion Dollars plus I.8 Billion Dollars in CASH! Iran was in big trouble and he bailed them out. Gave them a free path to Nuclear Weapons, and SOON. Instead of saying thank you, Iran yelled Death to America. I terminated deal, which was not even ratified by Congress, and imposed strong sanctions. They are a much weakened nation today than at the beginning of my Presidency, when they were causing major problems throughout the Middle East. Now they are Bust!” tweeted the Commander-in-Chief.
“On Monday they shot down an unmanned drone flying in International Waters. We were cocked & loaded to retaliate last night on 3 different sights when I asked, how many will die. 150 people, sir, was the answer from a General. 10 minutes before the strike I stopped it, not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone. I am in no hurry, our Military is rebuilt, new, and ready to go, by far the best in the world. Sanctions are biting & more added last night. Iran can NEVER have Nuclear Weapons, not against the USA, and not against the WORLD!” he added.
“A source had confirmed to Fox News earlier Friday morning that the administration made a last-minute decision to call off the retaliatory strikes against Iran. But until Trump’s tweets, few details about the aborted mission and the circumstances that led to the reversal were publicly available. And it remained unclear Friday whether strike plans have been definitively shelved,” reports Fox.
