BUSTED: CNN Under Fire for Refusing to Air Sen. Graham’s Opening Statement During Hearings

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.11.19

CNN found itself in hot-water Wednesday after the network failed to air Sen. Lindsey Graham’s opening statement at the Judiciary Committee; ignoring the lawmaker’s powerful remarks on the FBI’s botched Russia probe.

“CNN was alone among the three major cable news networks in deciding not to televise Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., deliver his opening statement on Wednesday prior to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s hotly-anticipated testimony,” reports Fox News.

“Graham’s powerful remarks included examples of bias against President Trump and other Republicans from top FBI officials and criticism of media coverage that dismissed the FISA report as concluding the FBI made errors at a low level,” adds Fox.

“The first thing I want you to know is how the cake is baked here and my goal is to make sure … you look at this as more than a few irregularities, because if this becomes a few irregularities in America, then God help us all,” Graham said.

CNN has so-far not responded to the incident.

BOB’S VERY BAD DAY: Mueller Says He’s ‘Not Familiar’ With Fusion GPS, Firm Behind Steele Dossier

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.24.19

Former special counsel Robert Mueller stunned lawmakers on Capitol Hill during his Congressional testimony Wednesday; telling legislators he was “not familiar” with opposition-research firm Fusion GPS.

“When discussing the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting, you reference ‘the firm that produced the Steele reporting.’ The name of that firm was Fusion GPS. Is that correct?” asked Rep. Steve Chabot.

“Page 103. That’s correct- Volume II. When you talk about the firm that produced the Steele reporting, the name of the firm that produced that was Fusion GPS. Is that correct?” pressed Chabot.

“I am not familiar with—with that, I—,” Mueller replied.

“It was. It’s not a trick question. It was Fusion GPS,” Chabot said.

“Steele authored and compiled information for the controversial and unverified anti-Trump dossier on behalf of Fusion GPS — the firm that was hired to conduct opposition research funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign through law firm Perkins Coie,” reports Fox News.

That document was then used to obtain FISA warrants against individuals close to the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

Sen. Lindsey Graham weighed-in Wednesday afternoon on Robert Mueller’s “confusing and sad” testimony before Congress; calling his behavior “dangerous and ridiculous.”

“Wow. Robert Mueller changing the job of a prosecutor from proving someone ‘Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt’ to ‘Not being able to exonerate someone accused of a crime.’ Dangerous and ridiculous. Thus far Mueller completely contradicts what he told AG Barr about the reason not to proceed on the obstruction of justice. He told AG Barr that the decision not to proceed was not solely based on the OLC opinion but on complicated facts in the law. Mueller hearing becoming very confusing and sad,” posted Graham on social media.

The mainstream media is already downplaying Robert Mueller’s highly-anticipated testimony hours before its conclusion; labeling the event a ‘Day of Disappointments’ for Congressional Democrats.

GRAHAM ON HANNITY: There is No Doubt Hillary Clinton ‘Committed Obstruction of Justice’

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.04.19

Senator Lindsey Graham stopped-by ‘Hannity’ Monday night to weigh-in on allegations of abuse and political bias at the Department of Justice; saying there is little doubt that Hillary Clinton clearly committed Obstruction of Justice.

“The bulk of information in the FISA application in October 2016 that led directly to spying on the Trump campaign, was the Hillary, phony Russian Dossier. James Comey signed it,” said Hannity.

“It’s not a theory. We know that Comey told the President that I want you to know about the unverified dossier. That’s the same document given to the court in October. Those two things don’t add up. Those are facts that need to be reconciled,” said Graham.

“There was no collusion with the Russians. Case closed, let’s look at all these other people and find out how we got in this mess to begin with… Taking a hammer to a phone, bleaching evidence are classic examples of Obstruction of Justice,” he added.

Recently obtained emails exchanged between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page show the FBI aimed to accommodate requests from Hillary Clinton’s lawyers leading up to the 2016 race for the White House.

“Internal FBI emails released Monday show FBI officials in 2016 sought to ‘expeditiously’ accommodate a request for information from then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s lawyer, in what a conservative watchdog group claimed is evidence of ‘special treatment,’” reports Fox News.

“Judicial Watch – a group that routinely sues for government records – obtained and released 218 pages of emails between former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. Many of the emails have to do with the bureau’s investigation into whether Clinton improperly used a private email server as secretary of state to discuss classified information,” adds the article.

“The emails released Monday, meanwhile, show then-FBI General Counsel James Baker writing that he spoke with Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall, in August 2016 and promised that the FBI would work to hand over a copy of the 302 from Clinton’s interview ‘expeditiously,’” writes Fox.

Clinton’s email probe was thrust again into the national spotlight last week when former Attorney General Loretta Lynch contradicted James Comey’s Congressional testimony regarding the investigation.

“So you do not believe you ever instructed him to call it a matter?” one lawmaker asked Lynch.

“I did not. I have never instructed a witness as to what to say specifically. Never have. Never will,” fired-back the former Attorney General.

Lynch’s comments directly refute Comey’s Congressional testimony.
