The Department of Justice released additional notes and documents from former DOJ official Peter Strzok regarding the FBI’s probe against ex-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn this week.
“The belated discovery of disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok’s January 2017 notes raises troubling new questions about whether President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden were coordinating efforts during their final days in office to investigate Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn — even as the FBI wanted to shut down the case,” reports JustTheNews.com.
“Investigators will need to secure testimony from Strzok, fired two years ago from the FBI, to be certain of the exact meaning and intent of his one paragraph of notes, which were made public in court on Wednesday,” adds the website.
“This page of notes was taken by former Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok. While the page itself is undated; we believe that the notes were taken in early January 2017, possibly between January 3 and January 5,” Sherwin wrote in the motion.
“Director Comey and the highest levels of the Obama administration had the transcript of Flynn’s phone calls… and knew the calls were lawful and proper,” states the court documents.

BARR TALK: The AG Says FBI Extended Probe for ‘Express Purpose’ of ‘Laying Perjury Trap’ Against General Flynn
Attorney General Bill Barr weighed-in over the weekend on the Department of Justice’s decision to drop all charges against former NSA Michael Flynn; saying the FBI extended their probe to “trap” the General.
“They were closing the investigation in December… There’s no mystery. They initially tried some theories of how they can open another investigation. Then they found out they haven’t closed the earlier investigation. They kept it open with the express purpose of trying to catch, lay a perjury trap for General Flynn,” said the Attorney General.
