BERNIE: ‘I Am Prepared to Put a Hold On This Bill Until Stronger Conditions Are Imposed’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.25.20

Senator Bernie Sanders raised new objections over the bipartisan Coronavirus relief package this week; saying he was prepared to “put a hold” on any legislation that does not include new protection for American workers.

“Unless Republican Senators drop their objections to the coronavirus legislation, I am prepared to put a hold on this bill until stronger conditions are imposed on the $500 billion corporate welfare fund,” posted Sanders on social media.

Former Vice President Joe Biden received the backing of a major American union this week; further advancing his march towards the Democratic nomination as Bernie Sanders refuses to concede the race.

“AFSCME, a union of 1.4 million public service workers nationwide, has endorsed former Vice President @JoeBiden for President. The endorsement was made by a unanimous vote of the union’s 35-member International Executive Board,” posted the union on social media.

“It’s not for me to tell him to drop out,” said Biden earlier this week. “It’s up to Bernie to do what he wants to do.”

“If there is a debate in April, he plans to be there,” the Sanders campaign confirmed to Fox News.

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.06.20

Former Vice President Joe Biden spoke with reporters last week on the ongoing Coronavirus crisis; launching a series of incoherent statements and arguments as the nation struggles to contain the contagion.

“He’s moving too slow… The virus is not his fault… But, the response is his response,” said Biden. “President’s ratings have always gone up, but in the, the proof is gonna be in eating the pudding, what’s it going to look like?”

“I forget the exact phrase used, whatever he used, we’re not the delivery service,” he added. “We the people, we hold these truths, etcetera… It sounds corny, but it’s true.”
