Former President Donald Trump is on the ground in Georgia today meeting with communities impacted by Hurricane Helene and handing out supplies to those in need.
“We came down with truckloads of different items, from oil to water. We’re here today to stand with complete solidarity with the people of Georgia and all those suffering in the terrible aftermath of Hurricane Helene,” Trump told the press.

Trump also led a moment of silence for those impacted by the hurricane.

Trump says he’s in contact with Elon Musk about getting Starlink hooked up to restore communications in the affected areas; “Elon will always come through,” he said.

Trump was asked if he had spoken to President Biden about the hurricane; “No, I haven’t reached out to him. I think he’s sleeping right now, actually,” Trump said.

Trump also went off on the Biden-Harris administration for failing to act.
