Biden struggles in Italy. Trump takes D.C.
During Thursday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity highlighted the stark differences between a declining President Biden who is losing support from his own party, and Donald Trump who is growing the Republican base.
At the top of the show, Hannity recounted Biden’s gaffes during day one of the G7 Summit in Italy.
“Joe spent the day humiliating himself and us on the world stage,” Hannity said. “He’s in Italy for the 50th G& Summit — it’s not going particularly well.”
“During a parachute demonstration, Biden got dazed and confused and wandered off as G7 leaders looked on in agony, desperate for someone to bring Joe back into the fold … and during the summit, Joe somehow mustered the energy to give a speech but was distracted by a plane flying overhead.”
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump was “warmly greeted on Capitol Hill.”
“Today, former President Donald Trump was warmly greeted on Capitol Hill at what was a joint meeting of Congress,” Hannity said. “The Republican Party is now rallying around President Trump and his plan to fix the border; to end the weaponization of justice; to end lawfare; to restore fairness to our justice system; to fight violent crime; to lower inflation; lower the cost of energy; reduce taxes; increase energy production; and spur yet another American boom like never before.”
