THIS IS CNN: Reporter 'Reminds' Viewers that Vegas Victims Are Trump Voters

A reporter from CNN left viewers scratching their heads on Tuesday; bizarrely reminding the audience that country music fans were “likely” Trump supporters as the network covered the devastating tragedy that unfolded in Las Vegas last weekend.

CNN journalist Jeff Zeleny was covering President Trump’s address to the nation and his impending trip to Las Vegas following Sunday evening’s devastating attack; the deadliest shooting in the history of the United States that left 59 people dead and hundreds severely injured.

Zeleny was praising the President’s comments, calling them “pitch perfect,” when he strangely pointed out that Trump supporters were among the victims; possibly implying the President was particularly moved by the tragedy because it directly affects his base.

“What will this President do in that respect? Will he take a leadership role in that respect?” asked the CNN reporter, referring to liberal calls for more stringent gun laws in the wake of the tragedy. “We will of course watch that as the days unfold.”

“The President clearly is striking a pitch perfect tone there,” he added. “Something else to keep in mind; a lot of these country music supporters were likely Trump supporters.”

President Trump addressed the nation on Monday, offering his thoughts and prayers for the victims of Sunday night’s mass shooting.

“To the families of the victims, we are praying for you and we are here for you. We ask God to help see you through this very dark period,” said Trump. “To the wounded who are now recovering in hospitals, we are praying for your full and speedy recovery, and pledge to you our support from this day forward.”
