The Bidens are back.
Former President Joe Biden and former First Lady Dr. Jill Biden stopped by The View on Thursday to chat about the country’s current state, Kamala Harris’ loss to President Trump, and Joe’s cognitive decline.
Biden said he “wasn’t surprised” Kamala Harris lost to President Trump and accused opponents of Harris of going “the sexist route.”
“I wasn’t surprised, not because I didn’t think the vice president wasn’t the most qualified person to be president. She is,” Biden said. “A lot of people didn’t show up.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin confronted Biden on Kamala’s View appearance when she said she wouldn’t have changed “a thing” about how Biden handled his term, despite plummeting polling numbers.
“I did not advise her to say that,” said Biden.
“I think she was talking about — she wouldn’t have changed the successes we had … as opposed to that we wouldn’t change anything at all.”
“She has to be her own person — and she was,” he offered, before adding: “We’d argue like hell by the way.”

Biden was also asked about his cognitive decline, and Jill jumped in to save him.
“The people who wrote those books were not in the White House with us,” the former FLOTUS said. “And they didn’t see how hard Joe worked every single day. He’d get up, he’d put in a full day … it was non-stop.”
