North Dakota Governor and Trump VP shortlister Doug Burgum made his debut on Hannity Monday night to discuss Donald Trump’s Vice President pick and the difficult situation President Biden is in with Vice President Kamala Harris; “Do you want the job?” Hannity asked Burgum.
The North Dakota Governor wouldn’t confirm or deny his VP interests.
“I know there’s a ton of interest in this process, but I think what’s clear is that President Trump, who is winning across every demographic, can win this thing by himself,” Burgum said.
“What we really should be talking about is Joe Biden’s VP. With him obviously failing … and he picked, four years ago, someone with no business experience, no operating experience — between Biden and Harris they never created a private sector job in their life.” Burgum continued.
Hannity pressed Burgum on the Veep buzz.
“North Dakota isn’t in play. Demographically, you wouldn’t check a box. Do you have an argument the other way?” Hannity asked.
“President Trump has a golden opportunity unlike Joe Biden who’s saddled with his choice of four years ago, President Trump doesn’t need a VP to win,” Burgum said.
