Joe Biden’s White House was hit with a community note on X when it attempted to celebrate job gains and put a positive spin on the effects of Bidenomics.
“Our economy gained 150,000 jobs last months, for a total of 14 million jobs created under President Biden. Bidenomics is growing the economy from the middle out and bottom up – not the top down.”
Community notes was quick to criticize the misleading graph.
“The graph is statistically accurate but contextually misleading as it ignores the impact of the massive & temporary COVID-driven job losses (Trump) & recovery (Biden). Displaying by month is also a mathematical trick to make Biden’s bar appear even larger by comparison.”
