Well, NYC — what did you expect?
During Tuesday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity blasted Big Apple Commie Mayor Zohran Mamdani for publishing a list of the names and addresses of wealthy New Yorkers who could be subject to the city’s proposed pied-à-terre tax.
Hannity called it a “canary in the coal mine” moment.
“New Yorkers have elected a communist mayor. And now, he’s doing communist things,” Hannity said.
“This is a tax that hopes to raise $500M in revenue … but the real purpose of the tax is class warfare,” Hannity continued. “It’s the heart of everything he believes. It is a punishment dealt out to those who already pay more than anyone else in taxes, and it’s a way to divide New Yorkers, target the rich, and a new tool — residential addresses for all to see.”
“The same thing happened in the Bolshevik revolution in Russia. The communists there published lists of the country’s businesses, owners, and other elites, encouraging the local population to seek revenge,” Hannity said.
“We are witnessing an extreme brand of politics in New York.”
